A richer natural oak, accentuated by a black background.

This model features classic oak effect slats, slightly warmer and more pronounced than a very light oak, set against a black background. The contrast emphasizes the rhythm of the slats and gives the wall a more architectural presence.

Its design is particularly well-suited to contemporary interiors, offices, TV areas, or rooms where you wish to combine wall decoration with improved acoustic comfort.

Sold in packs of 2 panels.
Dimensions of one panel: 110 x 50 x 1.8 cm.
Surface area covered by the pack: 1.10 m².

Set of 2 acoustic panels Classic Oak & black felt – 110 x 50 x 1.8 cm
110 × 50 cm per panel

Why an acoustic panel?

A more beautiful room. And finally a quieter one.

Tiled floors, large windows, bare walls, little furniture: in modern interiors, sound bounces everywhere. The result? Echo, voices that resonate, a TV turned up too loud and a tiredness you can't explain.

Our Set of 2 acoustic panels Classic Oak & black felt slat panels combine a real wood veneer with PET acoustic felt. The wood brings warmth, the felt captures sound waves. You get a signature look and genuine listening comfort, every day.

  • Clearer conversations, less resonance
  • More precise TV and music sound
  • Video calls without the "empty room" effect
  • A warmer, cosier atmosphere

How it works

3 layers, one goal: absorbing sound

Sound waves pass through the gaps between the slats and get trapped in the felt. Instead of bouncing off the wall, they lose their energy: echo is reduced.

  1. 1

    Real wood veneer

A thin sheet of real wood covers each slat. Grain, shades, knots: the look is authentic and varies slightly from one panel to the next.

  2. 2

    Through-dyed black MDF core

The slats are evenly spaced: sound passes between them, then diffuses. Dyed throughout, the MDF stays black even on cut edges: no light edges visible.

  3. 3

    PET polyester acoustic felt

The felt backing absorbs sound waves, especially mid and high frequencies (voices, dishes, footsteps). It is what "switches off" the echo in the room.

Mounted directly on the wall

Effective absorption of voices and high frequencies. The simplest solution, ideal for a living room, bedroom or office.

On battens + insulation

Up to αw 0.85 (Class A) installed on battens with 45 mm insulation. The ideal setup for a home cinema, studio or open-plan office.

Installation

Simple DIY installation

No need for a tradesperson. Allow about 10 minutes per panel with a drill-driver and a spirit level. Choose the method that suits your wall.

Most common

Screwed to the wall

  1. Mark a vertical guide line with a spirit level.
  2. Position the panel with the slats vertical.
  3. Screw into the felt, between the slats (≈ 6 to 8 black screws): they become invisible.

Ideal for plasterboard, concrete, wood · removable

No drilling

Glued

  1. Clean, dry, flat wall.
  2. Beads of construction adhesive on the back.
  3. Press in place, hold for a few minutes, add 2 temporary screws if needed.

Ideal for smooth walls · permanent installation

Max performance

On battens + insulation

  1. Fix wooden battens every 40-50 cm.
  2. Slide insulation (mineral wool ~45 mm) between the battens.
  3. Screw the panels onto the battens.

Ideal for home cinema, studio, uneven walls, cable routing

Tip: the 110 cm panels can be laid end to end to cover the full height, with the slats staying aligned. To adjust, saw the panel (wood + felt); for the width, simply cut the felt between two slats with a utility knife. Sockets and switches are worked around the same way.

FAQ

Your questions, our answers

Can't find your answer? Our team will advise you on your project.

Does it block noise from the neighbours?

No, and it's important to understand why. An acoustic panel provides acoustic treatment: it reduces echo and reverberation inside your room (voices, TV, music, footsteps). It does not replace soundproofing, which stops noise from passing between rooms and requires work on the partition wall.

How many panels do I need?

Use the calculator above: just enter your wall dimensions. As a quick guide, we recommend covering 15 to 20% of the floor area in a living room, 20 to 25% in an office and 35 to 40% in a home cinema.

How do I mount them?

3 methods: screwed directly to the wall (most common), glued with construction adhesive, or on battens with insulation behind for maximum performance. All steps are detailed above.

Can they be cut?

Yes, very easily. A jigsaw or circular saw for the wood, a utility knife for the felt. To reduce the width, simply cut the felt between two slats. Ideal for working around a socket or window, or fitting to ceiling height.

Can they go on the ceiling?

Yes, it's actually the most acoustically effective spot. On the ceiling, they must be screwed in (glue alone is not enough).

Can I install them in a bathroom or kitchen?

We recommend them for dry rooms. Avoid areas exposed to water splashes or high humidity (shower, sink splashback). In an open-plan kitchen, place them on a wall away from the hob.

Is it suitable for a plasterboard wall?

Yes. Use plasterboard wall plugs or screw into the metal studs. Construction adhesive also works very well on plasterboard.

How long does installation take?

Allow about 10 minutes per panel once the first one is up. A 2 m wide section of wall is easily done in an afternoon.

Is the colour true to the photos?

The veneer is real wood: grain and shades vary slightly from one panel to another, just like parquet flooring. That's what gives it its natural, premium look. Our photos are taken in natural light to stay as close to reality as possible.

How do I care for them?

Simply dust with a dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. No cleaning products or water.

The panels are 110 cm long: how do I cover the full height?

Lay them end to end, one above the other: the slats stay perfectly aligned. The last panel is simply cut to the right height. The calculator automatically works out how many rows you need. You can also cover just a strip (headboard, TV wall) without going up to the ceiling.

What are the delivery times?

Estimated delivery between 3 and 8 business days. You receive a tracking link as soon as it ships. The panels are packed flat with protected corners.

What if I'm not convinced?

You have 30 days to change your mind, subject to the terms of our returns policy.
